this has been an awesome weekend. friday morning after work i went over to kenny's who was wasted and had band-aids all over. apparently he was out of control earlier. we played guitars a bit, i've been missing out on playing music at his place lately cuz of working three weeks or so straight. soon my basement will be set up for rock, but its like a cave right now. in the near future there will be plenty of random jams and probably another semi gods reunion. maybe a small show next time? last night we partied at sarah's to see joanna off to ecuador. its random going to a going away party for someone you'd never met. it was fun...just the right level of rowdiness. at one point travis ran through the yard with a ladder posed as if he was gonna pole vault with it. i heard a crash by the garage but didn't see what happened. i wasn't really planning to drink but after the 6 pack of guiness i busted out the jag and everyone passed it around along with a large bottle of wine. drank a little too much, but had a great night and morning. around the time we took the trip to anoka my hangover set in and i took a nap til about 8pm. i feel like i need to get back on the ball and be productive after a few days of partying. i have only been drunk 5 times in the last month though. so if anyone slept through it, there was just an awesome storm going on. i was at work and eric was sleeping in the basement when the power went out. the entire sky light up with an immediate crash of thunder. of course i thought...yes! time to go home. i should have had my headlamp with me, but finished up with a flashlight skipping some stuff, then the power came on and sonny got there right as i was leaving. what a dis but he didnt care. hopefully my car got dented by the hail, to add to its already classy look.
